Day 1 - 21 Day Fix EXTREME |
Morning:
Today the kids didn't have school but I started my day with my first meal at 7:30 so I can eat every two hours. Since everyone in my house was still sleeping I went over my game plan and meal plan to adjust and switch a few things around. It was hard for me to get my workout in that morning because by the time I was finished with my breakfast all the kids were up. It wasn't hard for me to eat every 2 hours, but I found that I felt guilty eating when I was NOT hungry. I kept telling myself that I had to fuel my body for the exercises to come. By mid-morning I had challengers sending me text messages about the workout and how they felt. Everyone had to use the modifier and some had trouble getting over 10 minutes of the workout completed. Now this scared me! I might be a coach, but I still have major room for improvement. For me to get my water in while being at home I decided to keep it near me at all times. If I was in the car I put my bottle between my legs as a reminder that I needed to drink. Needless to say I was in the potty a lot during the day....hahaha.
Afternoon:
I was excited about my lunch because I made meatballs on Sunday in the oven which I have never done before. I think next time I will make in muffin pans so I can stay consistent with portion size. This will also allow me to add veggies into the meatballs. I would love to make some with spinach and mushrooms.

Workout:
It was early evening before I was able to get my workout in. Today is Plyo Fix and I was surprised at how much lower body was involved. Weights are required for this portion of the exercises so I used my 5 pound weights. Needless to say I think I will have a rocking booty using these moves. Autumn made all the moves easy to follow and there really wasn't that many within the 30 minutes. It was more repetition and multiple reps of each move. She gave lots of water breaks which I needed to give my muscles a break and I can honestly say I got in a lot of water during the workout. My heart was pumping within the first few minutes and I can't imagine how many calories I burned. No wonder she wants us to eat all this food....our bodies will need the fuel with these workouts. I used the modifier on many occasions just to give myself a break and I went at my own speed on a few reps. I decided it wasn't important to stay up with them since they have had all year to perfect the moves and it was my first time.

Overall today was a good day and I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings my way. I got all my required food groups in, all my daily water in (half of my body weight) and I was able to complete my daily workout (at my own pace).
