What do I need to get started? All you will need to get started is a measuring tape and a friend to help.
You wanted to take your measurements every 30 days and be consistent so you will get accurate results. Begin with your arms and work your way down. I prefer to go paperless so I use my iPhone note app. I can always take a screen shot and post if I need it forwarded to my personal coach or add to transformation pics.
Arms: If you have a defined bicep then you want to measure around the largest area. If you do not have a defined peek on your bicep then you want to determine the distance between the shoulder and elbow. Measure at the half way point between the shoulder and elbow to determine the size of your bicep.

Chest: You want the measuring tape to go across the nipples while both arms are down. Measure both left and right legs.

Waist: Go across bellybutton and any love handles to get an accurate measurement.

Hips: You want to include the widest part of your butt while keeping legs and feet together.

Thighs: Measure at the half way point between inseam and knee. Keep your feet shoulder length apart and weight evenly distributed. Do both left and right legs.

Calf: You want to measure at the peek of each calf or largest area.

I hope this helps you understand the correct way to take your measurements for your weight loss transformation. Remember to take every 30 days the same way for accurate results. You have taken the first step towards your health and a healthier you. Here is to getting healthy together!
