Week 4 PiYo Review




........ OVERVIEW
PiYo officially hit the scene and available for purchase at the end of June 2014. We kicked off our PiYo Challenge Group on Monday July 7th and this is scheduled to last for 60 days. I was supper pumped to start because I have never done Yoga or Pilates but the positions looked cool and I thought at least I would become flexible and could get some CRAZY pics. I also wanted to increase my muscle tone and look leaner.


WEEK 4:
This is my 4th week doing PiYo and I have officially hit my 30 day mark to weigh and measure myself. I was excited to see that I was down 11 pounds and 9 inches. My muscle definition in my arms, shoulder and back are amazing and I am so proud of myself. To know that these results can happen in only 30 days without breathing heavy in a workout is shocking. I feel stronger, I feel healthier and I feel like I can take the world head on. PiYo is a 60 day workout program so I am looking forward to see what the next 30 days will bring me.



Meals this week were pretty simple and I am getting better at meal planning and weekend prepping. I try to stay away from processed foods and get as fresh as possible. I found the old idea that eating healthy is more expensive is NOT true. You just need to know what to look for and sometimes frozen vegetables or fruit is a good alternative. Also I look for seasonal because if it is in season it is less expensive.
