Week 2 PiYo Review




........ OVERVIEW
PiYo officially hit the scene and available for purchase at the end of June 2014. We kicked off our PiYo Challenge Group on Monday July 7th and this is scheduled to last for 60 days. I was supper pumped to start because I have never done Yoga or Pilates but the positions looked cool and I thought at least I would become flexible and could get some CRAZY pics. I also wanted to increase my muscle tone and look leaner.


WEEK 2:
This is my 2nd week doing the new Beachbody workout program PiYo. I am  noticing that the moves are getting easier for me and I am becoming more flexible. I am able to straighten my back and align from head to toe in a straight line which before I always arched, no matter how hard I tried to flatten.  I feel stronger in my core and lower back and find that I can sleep on my stomach for longer periods of time without the sharp pain I have had for years. I can feel a difference in my clothes and how they fit in my back, arms, thighs and waist. I have not gotten on a scale or taken my measurements but I am tempted to see my progress. Some of the challengers have started posting results but I wanted it to be a surprise and wait until I am at my half way point in 30 days.



This week I tried out some of the recipes in the Meal planning guide and was surprised that they could be healthy and tasty. Even my kids tried and approved as kid friendly.

I am excited about completing another week of  PiYo and seeing the results that will come out in my third week. This program does not discriminate and is for EVERYONE! I would recommend PiYo to anyone that does NOT like to jump, to beginners or advanced challengers, have knee or joint issues, want to lose weight or just become toned.....this program is for YOU!
